Experience Rochester, Rochester Art Center, Rochester Civic Theatre and Rochester Downtown Alliance are pleased to announce a new, free event on three Thursday evenings in downtown Rochester. Alive After Five: Party on the Mayo Civic Center Riverfront Plaza will include live entertainment, food and beverage and activities for all ages.
PopROCKS, a high energy, immersive experience, kicks off Alive After Five on August 17. With three lead vocalists and the hottest live band around, PopROCKS delivers a night of entertainment unlike any other group. Members of the group enjoy a dynamic, high-powered chemistry that is as infectious to the crowds as the band's playlist of hit dance party jams. Future musical acts include Rhino on August 24 and The White Keys on August 31.
In addition to live music, Alive After Five will showcase roving performers from Insphyre Performance each evening and activities that include yard games, photo booths, sidewalk chalk, free tours of the Rochester Art Center, ticket giveaways and more.
Food items will include unique summer-on-a-stick variations, grilled specialties, and sweet delights along with tasty and splashy summer cocktails & mocktails.
