The 5-Mile Family Fun Ride - any age or skill level can experience cycling on the city streets of La Crescent. Bicycle along Elm Street with specifically marked bike lanes and cruise downtown to enjoy a cola or an ice cream cone.
The 31 mile, 54 mile and 61 mile tours will have you bicycling along the bluff top overlooking the Mississippi River. The challenging rolling hills and curving valleys are some of the best bicycling in the state. If the challenging bluffs are not for you, the 16 mile ride will be more to your liking. This route heads north out of town toward Dakota, MN This course is relatively flat and takes bikers along the Mississippi River.
Apple Blossom Bike Tour celebrates its 8th year, hosted by the Rotary Club of La Crescent. New two years ago was the partnership with Lizfest, a local celebration to honor a young newlywed who died of cancer in 2012. Lizfest hosts a golf tournament, a volleyball tournament, food, beverages, fun and games for the whole family, as well as the bike rides throughout the Mississippi River Valley.
