Artist Demonstration: Kelly Connole and Guillermo Guardia

2019 McKnight Ceramic Artist Fellows Kelly Connole (Northfield) & Guillermo Guardia (St. Paul) will each give a presentation about their work and development as an artist, and then share two hours of studio time, showing their techniques and skills. Coffee and cookies will be served. This program is supported by The McKnight Foundation.

Connole investigates memories, raw instinct, and elements of the natural world to create work that celebrates the tactile temperament of clay and connection to other beings. Guardia explores political and social issues relevant to his personal experiences, informed by the events in his life and the places he has lived.
