Juliane Shibata

Juliane Shibata is an installation artist who integrates real flowers with ceramic ones, contrasting ephemerality with the persistence of fired clay. Shibata will discuss work produced for a 2018 Minnesota State Arts Board grant, which includes her largest piece to date that celebrates life's ornamental and temporal patterns. The artist talk will take place in the NCC Library.
