Originally from the Indian state of Goa, Minneapolis-based multimedia artist Roshan Ganu will discuss her solo exhibition 'जत्रा (Ja-tra) : A Feeling At The Beginning Of Time. Currently a MCAD-Jerome Foundation Fellow, Ganu is the co-founder and lead artist of Aapli Zine Library and is a Foundation Studies Professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. For the Davies Gallery at Rochester Art Center, Ganu created a multimedia, immersive installation of the liminal space that is a ‘जत्रा’ (jatra) at night.
