About

The 7th annual Bemidji Blue Ox Marathon course is the most beautiful race anywhere. On Friday there will be a Fun Run for the kids and a 5K Run/Walk for participants of all ages and abilities. The Kids Runs will take park at the Sanford Center and will consist of a 1/2K and a 1K event. The 5K will start and finish at the Sanford Center. Runners/Walker will head along the south shore of Lake Bemidji, turning around at Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox.
All Saturday races will finish at the Sanford Center. The Full Marathon, Half Marathon and the 26K will start at the Sanford Center, while the Half Marathon will have a starting line approximately 3 miles up the trail. Half Marathoners will be able to take buses from the Sanford Center to the starting line.
