About

The Blooming Prairie Youth Club puts on a delicious rib-tasting & pulled pork meal each July which raises funds for the Blooming Prairie Youth Club which enrolls more than 60 kids each month. The BP Youth Club plays a vital role in keeping students learning even while in a before or after-school program. Funds raised at Ribfest each year include benefits for students enrolled, including:

  • Create lasting connections
  • One-on-one homework help
  • Learn how to become productive members within the community
  • Hands-on learning experiences
  • Fun, safe place for all school-aged kids
  • Recreational activities and opportunities
  • Free bus transportation AM and PM during the school year
  • Before and after-school snacks provided
  • Field trips
  • Community involvement opportunities
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snack provided during summer months
  • Summer pool membership
