THE PLOT: It’s a lonely Christmas Eve in Manhattan for worn down gumshoe, Sandy Wingtip…until Penny Loafer walks through his door with a look that spells double EE trouble. The private detective is drawn into a labyrinth of complex charades and unanswerable questions. Nothing is what it seems. Tongues are tied and the truth is just something to slip on. As Sandy stumbles forward in his quest to solve the case, the calloused detective ponders: Does Penny Loafer have both feet on the ground? Is Mary Jane as polished as she looks? Is Suede Oxford the big heel he appears to be? Are Velvet Capezio and Lacy Sneaker in cahoots?
