About
Carnaval Brasileiro returns to the Fine Line for an
authentic Brazilian carnival celebration! This year’s event features performances
by several groups, touring Brazilian guests, and real caipirinhas! Beira Mar
Brasil, a ten-piece band led by Robert Everest, hosts the event which includes performances
by singer and samba dancer extraordinaire, Dandara Odara; the Twin Cities own
Brazilian percussion band, Batucada do Norte; and Capoeira Floracao performing
traditional Afro-Brazilian martial arts.
