**Opening Day for Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center**
Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center will open for the season on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

**New Exhibit & Displays:**
– The Temporary Exhibit will feature “Derelict to Dream” the creation of the GTHS and the Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center.
– The Current Resort Video will feature 18 new resort owners of the Gunflint Trail.

**Exhibits and Hours:**
– The Museum, American Plan Interpretive Cabin, and the Trapper Shack Exhibit Building will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– The Nature Center will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
– The Watercraft Exhibit Building will also be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
– We have added new local crafters to the gift shop, so be sure to stop by to check out the new exhibits.

**Visit Us:**
We look forward to welcoming you back to Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center this season! We are open daily from May 24 to October 19, 2025.

**Admission Rates:**
Admission includes access to all buildings:
– $6 for adults (ages 19–64)
– $3 for children (ages 5–18)
– Discounts are available for senior citizens and military personnel.
– Admission is free for members of the Gunflint Trail Historical Society.
– Donations are always appreciated.

**Getting Here:**
Take your time driving up the Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway! Chik-Wauk Museum & Nature Center is located 55 miles along the Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway (Cook County Highway 12), just 1/4 mile off UT County Road 81, on beautiful Saganaga Lake.
