'Club Havana’- Sandbar Storytelling Festival's Annual Fundraiser

The Sandbar Storytelling Festival is once again producing its annual fundraising dinner and auction at Blue Heron Coffee House. Come to the “Club Havana" on Tuesday, April 29, and be transported to the vibrant and lively culture and spirit of Cuba. Larry and Colleen Wolner, along with their culinary artists at Blue Heron, are providing a five-course Cuban dinner. Doors open at 5 p.m. for beer and wine with dinner served at 5:45 p.m. The after-dinner auction will feature several unique items, including a four-night trip to Havana; three nights in Grand Marais, Minn.; a custom-designed Pillbox Bat baseball bat; a Rose Colored Glass blowing event for seven; Greek, French, and Farm dinners; a craft cocktail-making class for 10 by Muddled Thyme; a painting by the late E.F. Potvin; and more! Limited tickets will be available online at https://sandbarstorytellingfestival.eventive.org/schedule starting April 1. The cost for the dinner is $100 per person ($50 is tax deductible). This year’s festival features more storytellers (seven) — and more events and days (Oct. 7-11, 2025) than EVER!
