This family-friendly festival celebrates the enchanting world of pollinators in a bilingual setting (English and Spanish). We aim to make the festival more accessible, ensuring that everyone can learn, participate, and connect with the importance of preserving these vital creatures.
Event Highlights:
Mariachi Music & Ballet Folklorico: Enjoy the vibrant sounds of Mariachi music and the captivating performances of Ballet Folklorico.
Food Trucks: Delight your taste buds with a variety of delicious offerings from local food trucks.
Face Painting & Dress-Up: Get creative and dress up like a pollinator! Paint your face in vibrant colors to show your support for these essential creatures.
Musical Dance Party: Dance the evening away with a lively musical dance party.
Puppet Show by Local Parks and Rec: Experience a delightful puppet show presented by local Parks and Rec programming children.
Community Engagement:
Bilingual Festival Tables: Explore festival tables offering information and resources in both English and Spanish.
Vendor and Non-Profit Tables: Local vendors and community services will share resources for Monarch butterfly support, all pollinators, and the community at large.
Volunteer Opportunities: We invite volunteers to be part of this magical event! Both English and Spanish speakers are needed. Bilingual volunteers ages 14 and above will be paid $30 each for their valuable contributions. Contact us at [email protected] to get involved!
