Cox House Tours

About

Come visit one of the few fully restored Carpenter Gothic cottages in Minnesota!
Visitors are immersed in aspects of Victorian daily life at the Cox
House. This historic house built in 1871 was home to Eugene St. Julien
and Mariah Cox and their family. Eugene Cox was one of the earliest
settlers of St. Peter, an attorney, St. Peter’s first Mayor, and a
representative to the State House and Senate. The women raised in this
house went on to make local and state history. The Cox House interprets
the lives and experiences of Victorian women and tells those stories in
dynamic ways.

Tour group sizes are small (10 people max), so we highly recommend
booking your tour in advance
to guarantee a spot. Unfortunately, we
can't guarantee we'll have room for walk-ins.
