About
Inspired by countless hours on the Arboretum grounds and in natural areas nearby, Kristen Lowe presents this innovative, large-format exhibition, featuring a newly developed mixed-media method in the Arboretum's Reedy Gallery. Made using pastels, charcoal on a basswood foundation, Lowe’s works appear to emanate light from within, captivating viewers as she nestles birds and mammals delicately into dark, yet ethereal landscapes.
Cost: This exhibit is included with daily ticketed admission; $15 for ages 16 and older; free for ages 15 and younger. Indigenous peoples receive waived daily ticketed admission to the Arboretum by calling 612-301-6775.
