First Avenue. It's a bar, a rock club, a danceteria, an institution and a musical epicenter. But ultimately, most Minnesotans think of it as just a building. The fact that First Avenue is so much more is down to the dedicated staffers who mount nearly 1,000 shows a year and keep the place going.
