About

Eagle Field Trips at the Center

What’s better than seeing an eagle up close? Experiencing it in its natural habitat. Our eagle field trips provide you with the unique opportunity to see both Bald and Golden Eagles soar across the skies of the Upper Mississippi River Valley and surrounding bluff lands. These unforgettable tours are guided by our expert naturalists and give you plenty of opportunities to learn about eagle biology, behaviors, and how to identify the different species on your own. Plus, you'll see plenty of other exciting birds and wildlife along the way!

What to expect:

  • Field trips are experienced aboard a coach bus
  • They begin at 1:00 pm at a pre-determined meeting location in Wabasha
  • Receive classroom-style program on the bus as you travel
  • Visit several pre-scouted eagle hotspots
  • They conclude between 4:30 – 5:00 pm
  • Attendees are sent meeting instructions via email prior to the day of the field trip.
  • Participants should dress for the weather and bring their own binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras if desired.
  • Little walking is required.

Please note: While there are no age restrictions, we do not recommend these experiences for young children who may not handle sitting on a bus for long periods of time.

Reserve your spot for the next experience and prepare to be transported to eagle territory.
