Kick of the running season with this fun spring weekend in Downtown St. Cloud! Race Weekend includes:
Cetera Half Marathon – The Cetera Half Marathon course tours the best of St. Cloud! This includes gorgeous Mississippi River views and trails, tree-lined neighborhoods, the St. Cloud State University campus and — of course — the downtown St. Cloud finish! Saturday – 8:30 a.m.
Cetera Half Marathon Relay – If you’re not quite ready to tackle 13.1 miles, grab a friend, relative or complete stranger and take on the Cetera Half Marathon route together. Each of you will contribute 6.5 miles. Saturday – 8:30 a.m.
St. Cloud Subaru 5k – A great event for experienced runners, first-timers and for those needing a warm-up for Saturday’s race. The 5K course is completely closed down to just foot traffic, giving you the entire road to soak up the great views of mighty Mississippi. This course ends at the intersection of 5th Avenue and St. Germain Street in Downtown St. Cloud, giving you the celebration you deserve after completing the St. Cloud Subaru 5K! Friday – 6:30 p.m.
Earth Defender 1k presented by Capital One – The Earth Defender 1K invites children 12 and younger to run, walk or wheel their way to the finish line. This is an inclusive event and is accessible to children of all abilities. Friday – 5:30 p.m.
Scheels Health and Wellness Expo – Local, regional and national vendors will be selling, sampling and showing off the latest products from the world of running and fitness at the SCHEELS Health and Wellness Expo. You’ll find great deals on everything from running shoes to your last minute nutrition needs. Friday – 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
