There is always a surprise or two in an Armadillos show, but think of groups like America, The Eagles, Peter, Paul and Mary, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and even Heart, Kansas, Boston, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd all had great songs that were based on the acoustic guitar. Several artists like Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon and Garfunkel, John Denver and James Taylor all made their mark with songs written around the acoustic guitar as well.
