Fun for KIDS and ADULTS, come discover 90-million year old Minnesota fossils at the next Family Discovery Day! At the event, explore and enjoy fossil displays, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and themed games. While you wander and wonder, enter for a chance to win fun paleo prizes and a year of Minnesota Discovery Center (MDC) Paleontology Membership.Plus, learn about MDC Paleontology Programming, the Hill Annex Paleontology Project, volunteer opportunities at our fossil excavation site, and say hello to MDC Paleontologists, John Westgaard.
THAT'S NOT ALL! Bring your phone or camera and get a picture with the PALEO PALS - HAPP, the T-Rex, and HAPP's new dino friend, Cera (sounds like Sarah) the Triceratop. HAPP and Cera LOVE meeting other dinosaur fans and hope you'll stop by to say hello!
