Rochester Post Bulletin columnist Loren Else will discuss the operation and mission of the Federal Medical Center. On the former Rochester State Hospital site, the unique federal prison has now been open for thirty-seven years, opening in 1984. The sudden closure of the state hospital will be discussed along with a brief historical look at the Rochester State Hospital, which was in operation for over 100 years.
