If you’ve ever been mesmerized by fireflies, you won’t want to miss the Firefly Festival at Eastman Nature Center, located within Elm Creek Park Reserve. Safely catch and release fireflies and learn about this delicate creature. Kids can make a craft and participate at different leaning stations. Later on, adults can experience some evening magic on an adults-only firefly prairie hike. Learn how to record sightings for Citizen Science Firefly Watch at home. Ages 5+, reservations required. Cost: $5.
