Five Fifths is Minnesota Fringe's annual fundraiser is a unique, one-of-a-kind, event that showcases the dance, drama, musical, improv, puppetry, and other types of performances you might see when you go to the Minnesota Fringe Festival.

Each year, we take a well known movie or cult classic, break it into five parts and give each part to a different theater company. We ask them to stage their interpretation of that section and perform it in sequence during a one night only event and without the knowledge of who the other theater companies are or what they are doing.

Proceeds from the one-night-only mash up support Minnesota Fringe's investment of over $2,200 in each festival production for customized workshops, ticketing platforms, venue rentals and theater professionals.

By attending Five Fifths, you are not only supporting Minnesota Fringe, but also creating a ripple effect for artists, restaurants, bars, public transit, and more to generate a $1.9 million economic impact on the state.
