About

The
National Park Service’s birthday, also known as Founders’ Day, is August 25. Without
quarriers, Pipestone National Monument would not exist. As in past years, we
would like our recognition to include a celebration of the people who keep this
3,000-year-old tradition alive.

We
will have our official celebration on Saturday, August 26. Events and
activities are listed below:
