Grape Stomp Festival

About

Join us for our Annual Grape Stomp Festival.

Come experience our Grape Stomp Festival held annually the second weekend after Labor Day. The three day festival is packed with excitement including 12 bands on 4 stages, over 100 food, juried art and marketplace vendors, a beer garden featuring 22 Northmen Brewing Co. beer, wine tasting, and of course Grape Stomping!! Each day has costume and grape stomping competitions with a special theme on Saturday. Drink tickets are used for all alcoholic beverages and once purchased, tickets are valid for any festival day. FREE Shuttles run from the Douglas County Fairgrounds and many Alexandria hotels, plus there’s plenty of on-site parking.

Exiting the parking lot on Saturday takes additional time, so if waiting is not your thing, we recommend: taking the shuttle on Saturday, attending on Friday or Sunday, or chilling until 7:00 and then head to your car.

NOTE: NO PETS OR COMPANION ANIMALS ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL

Friday & Saturday are OVER 21 ONLY - no kids or babies!
Sunday is All Ages. Kids 6 & Under are FREE on Sunday.

STOMP GRAPES

During the three days of our festival, over 300 teams will stomp on 10,000 plus pounds of grapes. That’s a lot of purple feet! Teams are made up of two people – the “stomper” who is in the barrel and the “juicer” who stands below and guides the juice to the exit hole. Eight teams compete at a time. Winning teams are awarded the coveted “We Came, We Stomped, We WON" T-Shirts and advance to the Grand Championship round held at the end of each day. Grand Champions win a case of CCW Favorites!

Pre-registration is required for Grape Stomping. $30/team Friday & Sunday, $40/team for Saturday. Two kid’s stomping heats (12pm for 11-16 year olds and 1pm for 5-10 year olds) on Sunday for $5/team. All participants will receive a free GRAPE STOMP souvenir! Click below to reserve your time!

SATURDAYS THEME WILL BE “LUMBER JACK” FOR 2023!
