About
The Henning Haunted House was started in 2012. The brain child of Kathryn "Brock" Brockman and Michelle Boeckers; recruiting began for buliders, scarers, and volunteers. With a core group of 10-15 people, a haunted house was born.
The first two years the house was in an old, unoccupied church. After that the house was lucky enough to move into Henning's first community center. It is now located in the upper floor of a 100+ year old building.
Each year a portion of the proceeds are donated to various groups in Henning. Henning HOPE and now the Henning Volunteer Fire Department will each be receiving a portion to help pay for their respected expenses.
Admission has stayed at a reasonable $5.00, to ensure people coming back each year.
The initial group continues to come up with new and exciting ways to scare! The group consists of Firemen, Policemen, Teachers, Farmers, Office Workers, Beauticians, Clerks, and More!
We hope you will come out and support this endeavor and we wish you a Safe and Happy Halloween Season!
