July 7-8, 2023, world-renowned percussionist Josh Duffee and his Big Band will return for a two-day music festival. This year’s theme is “Hittin’ the Keys! The Music of Duke Ellington and Count Basie.” The Duke and the Count were iconic jazz pianists, composers, and bandleaders who made great contributions to the American music scene. Josh’s Big Band, featuring Corey Kendrick on the keyboard, will present their most famous songs, along with other audience favorites from the era. Concerts will be held at 7:30 pm each evening in the air-conditioned Hackensack Community Building. Tickets will go on sale in the spring.
