Tower View Home Tours
The Historic Tower View Residence is a Georgian Revival style brick house with 12 rooms. Beautifully crafted cherry woodwork and decorative painting are featured throughout the house. Built between 1915-1922 as a family home by Dr. Alexander Pierce Anderson, an educator, inventor, and plant physiologist best known as the inventor of puffed wheat. Occupied by artists-in-residence and private rentals, the Holiday Celebration of the Arts is the only opportunity all year for the public to tour the Historic Residence, a unique part of Red Wing’s history.
Guided tours for groups no larger than six will depart every half-hour from the front porch (Hwy 61 side) of the Historic Residence. Guests must be present at least 5 minutes prior to their tour start time. Tour admission is $10 for adults and $5 for youth age 17 and under.
Timed Admission details:
Advance registration is strongly encouraged. Art Fair guests may arrive any time within their half-hour window. While being mindful of others, guests should feel free to browse and shop as long as they’d like.
