I'd Love to Turn You On - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

About

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is widely considered the greatest rock album of all time. It changed the way people listened to music, defined a generation and has an emotional staying power that never gets old. As the only band to perform it start to finish in the region, and one of the few to do so from anywhere across the country, the performance of this unforgettable album by the local collective known as the Shabby Road Orchestra has the looks of becoming an annual tradition. Past shows have all sold out.

For these performances of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band the personnel on stage will swell to 18 players including harp, strings and sound effects, making this a performance that is not to be missed. In addition to playing the album to its powerful conclusion that is “A Day in the Life,” the Shabby Road Orchestra will return for a second set of rarely-heard gems from the Beatles’ final five albums and B-sides.
