About

Do bears really sleep all winter long? How do frogs survive the cold? What do the animals that call Minnesota home do instead of cozying up next to a fire?

Learn about what our animal neighbors’ strategies are for overwintering, and clear up some misconceptions about who does what to survive our long and cold winters! We will go on a guided hike around our 780+ acre campus of rich and varied habitats. Come explore all the Northwoods have to offer during the winter!

This event is FREE!

An adult must accompany participants under 16.
