Picture a winter woodlands landscape–an image of snow and trees and not much else probably comes to mind. From afar, winter woodlands may seem muted and lifeless compared to the hustle and bustle of wildlife in spring and summer. But with the knowledge of what to search for, even a simple stroll through the woods can peel back that quiet facade and uncover a hidden world of animals surviving the winter. The Northwoods is teeming with live year-round, so come explore our 780+ acre campus as winter changes into spring!
