About

Do you ever wonder where maple syrup comes from? You can
find out at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center’s annual "It's Tapping
Time!" event. Volunteers will tap maple trees, collect sap and boil it to
make delicious maple syrup. Learn about traditional syruping methods, enjoy
Native American stories, and taste maple treats. Faxon Farms Pure Maple Syrup will be on hand selling their maple syrup products.

Join us on either Saturday, February 29 between 10am and
4pm or Sunday, March 1 from noon until 4pm. Drop-in when you want and stay as
long as you wish. No charge for this sweet family outing!
