Fueled by the inventive and completely distinctive vocals of the legendary Jordanaires, From the King, For the King celebrates this completely unique early Elvis-era gospel songs that are so distinctive of the man himself.
The show is 95% Elvis gospel songs from his early ’60s period of gospel albums, plus a few ’50s Elvis tunes. Songs like “Run On,” “Milky White Way,” “Swing Down Sweet Chariot,” “Amazing Grace,” “Baby Let’s Play House,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” “If We Never Meet Again,” “I, John,” “Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho,” “Mystery Train,” “How Great Thou Art” and more!
