Join us as we celebrate the area's logging and lumberjack heritage!

Festivities kick-off Thursday, August 11th at 5:15 PM on the 3rd block of Main Ave Downtown Park Rapids with Water Wars! It’s a battle to push the cable suspended barrel with fire houses on each end. Teams sign up to battle it out for bragging rights and possession of the coveted Loony Traveling Trophy. Live music on 2nd Street Stage follows the competition.

On Friday, August 12th there will be the first ever fundraising dinner for Northwoods Wildlife Rescue held at the American Legion. Doors open at 4:30 PM, supper served at 5:00 PM. There will be tons of silent auction and raffle items. Come show your support and win some fantastic prizes!

Saturday, August 13th is the big day! Starting off with a Logger's Breakfast at the American Legion from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Afterwards, come on over to the 4th block of Main Ave Downtown Park Rapids to experience all of the fun! There will be 3 Timberworks Lumberjack Shows throughout the day (see schedule below), 2nd Annual Grandma Foster's Backyard BBQ Challenge, Smokey Hills Outdoor Store Archery Challenge, Park Rapids FFA Da-Dunk Tank, National Guard Rock Climbing Wall, cornhole, sidewalk chalk/activities, face painting, caricature drawings, Carters' Farm Market, Beer and Wine Garden, local live music, RDO Lamb Weston french-fries, Pike's Sweet Corn, Blue Line BBQ Truck, and more!

Ending our event on Sunday, August 14th at 2:30 PM is the 8th Annual Fawn Fun Fest at Sleeping Fawn Resort & Campground. Come enjoy this concert on the beach! This year's band is "The Whips". Proceeds to benefit the Northwoods Wildlife Recue.
