About
Help defeat the darkness of cancer on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 by joining thousands of survivors and supporters at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Minnesota Chapter’s Light The Night.
Light The Night brings light to the darkness of cancer. It is a remembrance, a celebration, and a rallying cry to help fund critical advances in the fight against cancer. This evening celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. at Harriet Island in St. Paul with fun activities for all ages including food trucks, a glow zone and glam station, a tailgate zone, music and much more!
An inspirational program with a special survivor ceremony will kick-off the walk. Friends, families, and co-workers come together for an illuminated walk carrying symbolic lanterns - red is for support, white is for survivors, and gold is for loved ones lost to cancer. Stay for the fireworks show over the river!
The light and warmth we generate brings hope in place of despair, community instead of loneliness, and lifesaving research and support for cancer patients and their families. Our goal is a world without blood cancers. And we're lighting the path to cures. Register and learn more at: www.LightTheNight.org/MN.
