Local Bridge Chamber Music Festival

The Bridge Chamber Music Festival (Francesca Anderegg, artistic director) will take place in the last week of August in Northfield, Minnesota. Four concerts are set to feature both local and international musicians in an exciting array of diverse musical styles and venues.

On August 24th, cellist Mike Block and tabla player Sandeep Das will lead an improvisation workshop at Kracum Performance Hall at Carleton College. Then, they will be joined by Carleton’s Senior Lecturer and pipa virtuoso Gao Hong for a concert with original music from Das and Block’s latest album Where the Soul Never Dies.

All concerts this week are free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5.
