Local Chamber Music Festival

The Bridge Chamber Music Festival (Francesca Anderegg, artistic director) will take place in the last week of August in Northfield, Minnesota. Four concerts are set to feature both local and international musicians in an exciting array of diverse musical styles and venues.

The opening concert will be held on August 22nd at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. Featuring pianist Erika Ribeiro from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this program is a lively mix of music by Johannes Brahms, Spanish composer Joaquin Turina, and a new album of Brazilian jazz music. Ribeiro will be joined by Minnesota Orchestra principal clarinetist Gabriel Campos Zamora, violinist Francesca Anderegg, and cellist Sarah Lewis.

All concerts this week are free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5.
