Join Wahoo! Adventures and other adventurous travelers for a eight day, seven night bicycling trip starting at the Headwaters of the Mississippi in Itasca State Park ending in Grand Rapids. Of the six day trip, four days will be spent bicycling for a total of 135 miles. Follow the Mississippi river from its humble beginning as a creek in northern Minnesota to the roaring falls in Minneapolis. See Paul Bunyan, wild rice via a canoe, eagles, and loons.
8 days & 7 nights - Monday to Monday
Bicycle: 7 to 35 miles each day
Highlights:
*Dip your tire in the mouth of the Mississippi
*Toast the sunset each evening with a glass of wine
*Pedal through Chippewa National Forest
*Listen for the call of loons
*Early morning canoe viewing native wild rice, fish, and birds.
