About
Mainstreet Day takes place on Saturday, May 20th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendors are located right on Mainstreet between 7th and 12th Avenues. The 36th annual Mainstreet Day Arts & Craft Festival is a one-day event that features nearly 200 vendors, food trucks, and entertainment. The event is free and open to the public and takes place rain or shine.
Arts and crafts vendors from around the state and across the Midwest will sell their handmade goods at the event. Among the items for purchase will be jewelry and accessories, woodwork, housewares, apparel, photography, artwork, garden décor, health and wellness items, yard games, gifts for children, and much more. Food booths will be located throughout the fair and there will be entertainment for the family, including live music, a balloon twister, giant yard games, a bubble artist, face painting, and more.
Proceeds from the event are used to support the local community. JCI Hopkins donates regularly to community partners including ICA Foodshelf, ResourceWest, MyHealth Clinic for Young Adults, and the Cops & Kids Shopping Programs.
