About
Traditionally in Sweden, Norway, and Finland this time of year, fresh-cut branches are put in water. After the branches bud, small leaves open in a week or so. The budding branches are decorated with ornaments, decorations, and colorful ribbons for the coming of spring and the Easter holiday.
Making a Påskris - or Easter Tree - is such a creative and beautiful way to celebrate the final days of winter. This holiday project can be done by adults, children, and families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The fee is $8 per person or $15 for a child/adult pair – all supplies are included. Call the museum to register at 651-433-5053 or email Lynne at [email protected]
