Mankato Marathon

Mankato Marathon is the area’s biggest race of the year and features a 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, KidsK races, Toddler Trot and Diaper Dash. Sponsored by Mayo Clinic Health System, the event is held to raise funds for local charities through its Champion Runners and its Charities Program’s registration donations. Visitors can participate in one of the races (early registration is encouraged) or cheering on runners. Mankato Marathon is USATF certified, ranking it as professional as the Boston Marathon.
