About
The Minnesota Boychoir will share its holiday joy - and the pride of reaching its 57th season as a choir - in a Winter Concert program featuring songs both secular and sacred. Cantabile, the Minnesota Boychoir's 50-member flagship ensemble, will be joined by the Allegro, Cantando and Cantar ensembles in delivering a variety of classics sung in the world of boychoirs. Seasonal favorites include a jazzy rendition of Santa Claus is Comin' to Town, Deck the Halls, the gloriously melancholy Christmas Time is Here by Lee Mendelson and Vince Guaraldi, Angels From the Realms of Glory sung in Aramaic and English, and Daniel Kantor's Night of Silence, with an audience sing-along on 'Silent Night.' As usual, the Winter Concerts are free, unticketed, and open to the public.
