About

This year our presenter will be Owain Harris, a self-taught woodworker who operates a one man studio in Gonic, NH where he builds custom furniture and cabinetry. He is a juried member of both the League of NH Craftsmen and the New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association, and an instructor at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport Maine.

Have you wanted to try building furniture with curves but didn’t know where to start? Join furniture maker Owain Harris Nov 5th, 6th and 7th to find out.

In this weekend series of demonstrations and lectures, Owain will use the classic elliptical demilune table form to discuss a number of topics including: bent lamination techniques, adhesives, plunge router joinery, shaping sculptural legs, decorative veneer layups, string inlay techniques, and building curved faced drawers.

Get the information you need to approach designing and building complex curved furniture with confidence. Learn more about Owain and the 2021 Fall Seminar by watching this video at https://youtu.be/EGYgFrfs4zM
