Chicago's Rum Velvet melds influences from Eastern Europe, West Africa, India and other far off and imaginary lands with plenty of tribute to America's rich "Hot Jazz" and brass band traditions. With deep-rooted and storied chemistry, they bring a unique brand of high energy brass music that, in this case specifically, has only come along once in a generation.
