Explore the exhibition Moments of Memory: Minnesota Landscapes Painted from Life with Frederick Somers, an internationally acclaimed pastel and oil painter and exhibiting member of Minnesota Plein Air Collective. Somers will discuss his inspiration and technique. Somers has been recognized by awards of Eminent Pastelist by the International Association of Pastel Societies, inducted into the Hall of Fame and Masters Circle of the Pastel Society of America, and is a Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America.
A reception to meet exhibiting artists will follow the tour, 2:30-3:30 pm. Hosted in collaboration with Minnesota Plein Air Collective.
