NATIONAL EAGLE DAY - Join us Saturday, June 22, for Bemidji's 3rd annual 'Bird City Minnesota' celebration.

Come learn about the important role our area played in the bald eagle’s recovery. Hear from bald eagle experts, see displays, join in fun activities, and even get your picture taken with a live bird-of-prey. Activities for everyone.

LAKE BEMIDJI WATERFRONT (Paul Bunyan Park)
11:00am - 3:00pm Games, trivia contest, art activities for kids all day
11:15am - 12:30pm "The Eagle's Journey Back From Near Extinction", John Mathisen, retired USFS Wildlife biologist and pioneer eagle researcher
12:30 - 2:30pm Bird-of-prey photo booth, Live Raptor demonstration, & more

LAKE BEMIDJI STATE PARK
9:30 - 10:30am Storytime, and help build a real eagle's nest
4:00 - 4:30pm Nature hike to eagle's nest

USFS NORWAY BEACH CAMPGROUND VISITOR CENTER
