Nature at the Confluence
About
Join Mary Lahr Schier, author of The Northern Gardener, Mary Hockenberry Meyer, author of Ten Plants That Changed Minnesota, and Adam Regn Arvidson, author of Wild and Rare, for a discussion on the intersection of nature, climate, landscape, and ecosystem at Bdote, the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers. The authors will sign books after the program, with books available for purchase in the museum store.
After the program, take the 30-minute Landscape of Bdote tour to learn more about the importance of the site's location in the Dakota worldview, culture, and communities.
Site admission is required to visit the fort and for the tour.
