Hello friends and new comers! Welcome to the reboot of Drum and Bass Music in Minneapolis!

We're switching the brand of this night from the pre-pandemic "Session Minneapolis." We're bringing a new era of Ideas and vision under the moniker of "Champion Sound!" This is very exciting for us, and we hope the new movement we're working toward is exciting for our patrons as well.

We're moving the night to Third Saturdays. Partly due to Day Block Brewing Company's availability, but also so we can accommodate the needs for our personal schedules, as well as the needs for booking the Champion Sound VOID sound system.

Starting in June, we're happy to acknowledge that our first night back falls on Juneteenth. The day in American history that celebrates the emancipation of slave laborers in Texas. The final American state to allow slavery. Two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was enacted. Commemorating the end of slavery in America, as it was practiced for centuries, for the final groups of slaves.

That being said, we're very happy to announce the artist roster we've compiled. We've chosen to warm up the rig for the first hour. In preparation to let our BIPOC friends take center stage for the rest of this important celebration.

We're also going to try something new. In the coming months, we will be implementing a part time resident rotation. Aimed at getting new people involved in DJing & event production with our crew. Both as an inclusive celebration of culture, and as the beginning of a new era of Drum and Bass, Jungle & all electronic music to the people of the Twin Cities! Stay tuned for details on how to become involved in our part time resident rotation. Can't wait to see our family again!!!!
