Night Trains® season is back for the 2024-2025 season as part of our 90th Anniversary year! Enjoy this unique holiday tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum from November through February.

What is Night Trains?
The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum. Night Trains Season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains. The make believe town of Matlin is buried in a blizzard, and throughout the Museum the layouts are adorned with miniature Christmas lights and decorations.

Hours and Admission
Every Saturday from November 2, 2024 to February 22, 2025. Plus the bonus nights listed below. The event runs from 3:00pm to 7pm, and tickets may be purchased online at tcmrm.eventbrite.com or at the door. Kids under the age of 4 are free, adults $15. 

2024-2025 Special Evenings

November – We are slowly switching from Halloween trains to winter decorations and then to Christmas decorations. Bonus Night Trains on Black Friday, November 29th from 3-7!

December – Santa joins us on Dec. 14th and 21st! Get a picture with in and let him know what's on your list.
Bonus Night Trains Events on the Monday and Friday of the weeks before, during, and after Christmas. (Dec. 16th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, and January 3rd)
The GRVS Modular Layout will be set up in the front conference room from December 20th till December 22nd.

January – Christmas decorations will end January 25th but we will maintain winter decorations through February.

February - Enjoy the new year and get a break from the long winter with our amazing railroad layouts! More special events to be announced soon!
