About
Based on the French graphic novel of the same name and co-directed by Angelin Preljocaj, this film follows the fictional journey of a young ballerina training to join the Bolshoi Ballet until her discovery of contemporary dance takes her down a different path. Staring Anastasia Shevtsova, who studied at the renowned Vaganova Academy and danced for the Mariinisky Ballet, it also features Oscar-winning actress Juliet Binoche who has collaborated with Akram Kahn.
