NYE Kids Bash
About
Fifth
Annual NYE White Bear Lake Bear Drop
In New York City they drop a ball, in
Flagstaff, AZ, they drop a pinecone, and in White Bear Lake - they will drop a
white bear (of course!)
White Bear Lake is excited to continue the
tradition in its downtown shopping district - a polar bear located on a 30-foot
flagpole on the rooftop of the Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn and
Rudy’s Redeye Grill.
The hotel and restaurant are excited to
continue the tradition of lowering the white bear at 8pm and midnight on New
Year’s Eve. In addition to the White Bear Drop, there will be dinner service
with a special menu at Rudy’s Redeye Grill, Rudy’s Rooftop will be open for
cocktails, a hot chocolate bar located in the hotel lobby and a twist on the
annual New Year’s Eve Bash in the White Bear Event Center, is a New Year’s Eve
Kid Bash.
Tickets to the hotel’s New Year’s Eve Kids
Bash are on sale now at Rudy’s Redeye Grill 651-653-6718.
The celebration is 6pm-9pm, complete with Italian Buffet, Dessert Bar, Party
Favors, DJ Music, Dancing, Sparklers, Toasts, Prizes, and the BEAR DROP!
In the city of that boasts thousands of
bears, this one is something special. The 80 lb. white bear was created by Pat
Pearson and her team at Atomic Props in Oakdale. It is mounted on a 30-foot
flagpole, with colored spotlights help illuminate the bear so that downtown
visitors can see it from Highway 61. The bear is operated remotely from a
computer and will have a full wardrobe for upcoming events and seasons.
Come on down to White Bear Lake on New
Year’s Eve and watch the second annual “White Bear Drop” in White Bear history.
